My Term 2 unedited writing sample.

Next term I will be working on using more interesting words and similes to add interest to my writing. I will also add talking and time words.

Tōku Whanau

I have been learning to recognise, understand and use words about my family.
I have been learning to ask and answer simple questions about my whanau.

Tōku Pepeha

I have been working on communicating about personal information, such as the names of my maunga, awa, iwi, hapu, marae, waka, parents and my name.

This is my first story for 2016. I hope you enjoy it.

Wednesday 10th February 2016.

On Sunday my sisters and brother went for a barbecue with my mum and dad and my nan.
My dad cooked the barbecue. We had steak, meat patties, sausages, pork chops and salad.
We started to eat. It was yummy.
Then we went to church. When we finished we went home for another barbecue. That was fun.
